Hamners Unite!

The Hamblin family came for a visit Wednesday through Saturday... It was so fun to get together, if even only for a couple days!  We played lots of games, ate lots of food, and stayed up way too late every night!  We went to the zoo in Dallas one day, and then took them to eat at Whataburger for dinner.  The baby elephant is out with his mom at the zoo... and he is so cute!  We had a lot of fun, and the weather was perfect for their visit!  I think they need to come more often!

Fall Choir Concert

Chloe had her first concert of the year and it was really great.  I can tell that choir in high school is going to be good for her... she has a great talent!  They sounded great, and ended with all of the choirs singing "God Bless America" together.  It got me a little teary, I'm not gonna lie!  Chloe is the tallest girl in her section... and so beautiful up there! (She gets self conscious about her height... I told her to just own it!)

Crafty Pumpkins

Dave made me some pallet pumpkins, and then I painted them... I loved them so much, that I had him make some more!  Now I have some inside, AND outside! Happy fall y'all!

General Women's Meeting September 2016

I took my sweet girls to the General Women's meeting tonight.  We went to Panda Express first (our tradition), and then to the church building for the meeting.  It was so good!  Were were filled with spirituality and goodness, and I absolutely love that I get to share this with all my girls!

Look out World! Ciera's Driving!!

Ciera had her driver's license test, and she passed!!  She is an official driver!  I can't believe that she is old enough to drive... my baby is growing up!

Dates with my Sweetheart

I love that my girls are old enough to stay home by themselves, and that Dave and I can go out on regular dates!  Sometimes we go out for dinner, sometimes to a movie, and sometimes we just go walk around stores.  I love this quality time with my sweetie!

Selfies, Sleep, and Sweets

Autumn got a hold of my phone in the car and snapped some selfies... I have cute girls!  Brooke stays up late reading, and works hard in school, and so she gets tired... She falls asleep reading at night a lot of the time.  One night I took a picture of her... what a cutie! September marks the start of fall baking season!  Pumpkin everything!  I made a pumpkin spice cake with whipped caramel frosting.  It was so good!!
