Chloe's Art

A while ago, our school district had "Celebrate the Arts", and Ciera played her french horn and Chloe had a piece of artwork in it.  I posted about Ciera's part previously, but didn't have a picture of Chloe's art.  Now I do!  We are so impressed with Chloe's art... she loves to draw, paint, and create things.  This picture was an assignment in art class at school.  They had to make a construction paper owl.. it turned out really well!  We are proud of Chloe!

The Green Machine Team

The First grade at Dodd Elementary put on a little play last week.  It was called "The Green Machine Team" and it was a show about recycling and conserving... just in time for earth day last weekend.  Brooke had a speaking role, which she was really nervous about.  She was by far the CUTEST one there!!  It was really fun to watch these cute kids perform what they had been working so hard on!  Yay for Brooke!

Easter

Easter weekend, we decorated eggs on Saturday.  This year, we dipped them in dye and after they were dry, we painted them.  The girls got so creative and loved it!  Sunday morning, we let them find all the eggs that were hidden before we got ready for church.  We had homemade cinnamon rolls, and then had a wonderful day at church and home remembering our Savior!  I hope you all had a wonderful Easter too!!

Wylie's Got Talent

Last Friday was our ward talent show. Ciera and two of her friends did a dance together that they made up. They chose the song, did the choreography, and chose the costumes. They were a little nervous, but did great! (The very beginning was cut off of the video due to technical difficulties... but most of it is there!) Chloe, Brooke and Autumn also participated. Chloe and Autumn hula-hooped while Brooke cartwheeled. They did awesome! It was a fun evening, and my girls stole the show!!

Chloe's Birthday Fun

For Chloe's big day, we woke up early and opened presents before school. We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast and then sent the three older girls off to school. After school, we had dance class, which Chloe could not focus in because she was too excited for her party. Her party was from 5:30 to 10:00 in the evening. She had three friends over and we ate pizza, they played dance party, we face painted, had cake and ice cream, opened presents, and watched a movie. She had a fun time! I think it was her best birthday so far... at least until next year!

My beautiful, spunky, strong-willed, mischievous, fiery, sweet, loving, compassionate, kind, friendly, generous, funny, crazy Chloe is 10 years old today. Our family is better off for having her in it. We love our Chloe girl! Happy Birthday Sweetheart!
