Maize Maze

For Family Night on Monday, October 27, we went to the corn maze at the American West Heritage Center. After a lesson on choosing the right path through life to lead us back to our Heavenly Father, we entered the corn maze and tried to navigate our way to the end. It took us about 45 minutes to get through (which is better then the 2 hours it took us last year) even with Dave being the navigator part of the time. We all had a lot of fun! There were hay forts for the kids to play on, swings to swing on, tee-pees to play in, and lots of displays and lights to see. I think it was a very enjoyable Family Night!

Halloween Fun

Halloween is such a fun time! The girls were so excited about their costumes this year. Well, everyone but Autumn, who looks like she doesn't really care. Ciera was a sock-hopper in my old poodle skirt. Chloe was the black widow spider. Brooke was the dalmation puppy, and Autumn was the bumble bee. They each got google-eye glasses from the Halloween party at Aunt Chris's house, and they wore them all around after we got home. It gets more difficult to come up with creative costumes each year, but I think we did okay this year!

Aunt Chris and Uncle Mark had a Halloween party on Saturday, October 25th. They had lots of themed food and treats, lots of games for the kids, and lots of fun for everyone. Thanks Aunt Chris! We all dressed up... there were lots of cute costumes. Dave didn't dress up though (big surprise) because it was his birthday weekend. We all had a great time visiting, and it was well worth the drive down to Sandy.

North Logan Pumpkin Walk

Annette and the girls went to the annual Pumpkin walk in North Logan with our friends, the Hamblins, on Thursday, October 23. We saw a lot of fun displays made with pumpkins and other fall things. It was fun... except that Autumn wouldn't stand still for more than one second for me to take her picture! Maybe next year!

Fall Break

For Fall Break, we took the long trek from Logan to Clovis. It was 14 hours of drive time both directions... enough to wear anyone out! We had a great time while we were there though, and it was well worth the drive. The girls went to a school carnival with their cousins Brody and Cleah on one of the days we were there and got to have their faces painted. They thought it was so super cool!

Tony's Grove Hike

We went hiking in October when the weather was cool and the leaves were changing to their beautiful oranges and reds. Ciera, Chloe, Brooke and Autumn loved it! We had a great time, and look forward to doing it again soon!

Summer 2008

Summer brought a lot of great times for us. Ciera was baptized at the beginning of summer, and we had family visiting for that. We had a lot of fun. We took a trip to Yellowstone and saw many animals, which the girls loved. Later in the summer we had more family visit, and really enjoyed the time.
