Sunday we went to church with Suzanna's family, then spent the afternoon with them until after dinner. After a very yummy dinner, we drove up to Logan to arrive at the Hamblin's house.
It was an awesome week of games, food and fun. I was really bad about taking pictures, but the girls had a lot of fun playing with old friends. Dave worked during the days, and then we spent the evenings playing boardgames, card games, and games on the Wii.
One evening, we and the Hamblins went out for dinner, and left Ciera in charge of all the kids. It was a fun night out! (You can tell we had been staying up WAY too late each night by the tired looks in all of our eyes!) We had a great time, and it was really hard to leave on Saturday! Saturday we went out to lunch with some friends and then hit the road for the long journey back to Wylie. We again drove through the night (again, BAD idea!), and arrived home safely on Sunday before lunch.
It has been really hard to get back into the normal routine, but it was such a great week! The girls did so well in the car (and the whole week!), and we had a great time visiting with friends and family. We look forward to another fun vacation soon (though not the driving all night part- that was pretty much the WORST! Did I mention that that is a BAD idea?!)!
