Happy Birthday Chloe!!

Our Chloe-girl is 14 years old!  I can't even believe it!  In a few months she will be done with junior high.  She has grown so much (mentally and physically!)  For her birthday, Dave and I took her out to Chiloso for dinner.  She wanted a fish for her birthday (which she got), and one on her cake (which she got too).  For her party, she had some friends come with her and Ciera to an escape room in Dallas.  They had a set time to escape... and they did it! (The employees helped them out quite a bit too.)  She had a lot of fun! We love her so much!  Happy Birthday sweetheart!

Autumn got her phase-one braces on.  Poor gal!  She is going to be sore for a while!

Bouncing, Running, and Art!

One day, the Rec Center had bounce houses and I took the little girls for some fun.  They really liked it, once the boys got off!  Ha!
Chloe ran hurdles in track... she did so awesome!  We loved going to her meets and cheering her on!  She never fell or knocked down a hurdle... pretty good for her first season!
Autumn had a couple of art pieces in the district wide Celebrate-the-arts show!  We are so proud of all our girls!

And the Golf Balls Came Down!

Two days after we got our garden planted, we had a terrible hail storm!  The hail came down the size of golf balls!  It was loud on our roof, and hit our windows!  Luckily none broke!  And, our garden was fine... thankfully! (We did find out that our roof was totaled, and we needed all new shingles.  Thankfully hail damage is covered on our insurance policy.)

Planting a Garden!

We were so excited to finish our garden box and plant a garden for the first time in Texas.  Since we didn't know what would grow, or if anything would happen with our plants, we only did a "salsa" garden.  We planted tomatoes, green peppers, jalapeno peppers, and cilantro.  It was really fun to work together to get it all done!

Happy Saint Patty's Day!

We had two different dinners for Saint Patricks Day.  We had corned beef and cabbage one day, and then we had Irish Cheese Beer Soup another day (I made it with non-alcoholic beer so Dave was able to finish it off!).  Yum!
